China Export Commodities Exhibition in Malaysia Is Coming Soon

We hereby would like to invite you and all your members with great honor to visit Chinese Export Commodities Exhibition & Investment Conference (Malaysia) 2006, abbreviated as CECEM 2006, which will be held at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre of Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia on December 14-17, 2006.

CECEM 2006 is held by Ministry of Commerce of the P. R. China and hosted by China Foreign Trade Centre, which also hosts the famous Canton Fair. By far, there are 213 enterprises from 16 provinces and cities of China and 52 enterprises from ASEAN have confirmed to participate in the fair. It mainly exhibits Machinery & Electronics, Building & Construction Materials, Household Products, and Food and so on. Specially, The exhibitors from The Hubei Province, Ningbo city, Taizhou city, Chongqing city and China Chamber of Commerce of Import and Export of Foodstuffs, Native Produce & Animal By-Products (CFNA) consider it as an important trade platform, they will display the exhibits in groups. To boost its influence, the organizing commeetee has done several promotions in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand and so on. It’s no doubt that more quality products will be showed in CECEM 2006, and it is going to have a total exhibition space of nearly 7000M2 with 300 booths.

In the recent years, the Sino-Malaysia bilateral trade has been expanding continuously. Malaysia is not only the important cradle for China to have direct foreign investment, but also one of the main targeted regions for Chinese companies to walk out the door of the country. Canton fair has chosen Malaysia as the first stop, which has great significance on promoting friendship among China, Malaysia and every county of Association of Southeast Asian Nations, expanding bilateral trade, and boosting the further development of bilateral trade relationship. This session of CECEM has been given great concern and support of Malaysian government. During the exhibition,"An Introduction Conference of Malaysian Market and Investment Environment" will be held jointly by MIDA and MATRADE. Minister of International Trade and Industry of Malaysia will visit CECEM 2006 and attend the opening ceremony.
