iPod Pros and Cons
Pros:
• Cool body design, smallest hard-drive based digital music player.
• Convenient, intuitive and sensitive one-hand controls.
• Large capacity
• Dock for easy charge, easy sync
• Wide selection of very useful accessories that can make it work as a digital photo album, voice recorder, etc.
Cons:
• Short battery life considering the large capacity. Battery is not replacable. battery charger
• Easy to scratch and included case not satifying (once the iPod is inside the case you lose the ability to control it.) other cases
• Controls to sensitive for some people (use hold feature)
• Expensive

New body design:
• 1/4 inch thinner than previous version, weight is also reduced to incredible 33- 33 ounces.

New docking station included in the package: It allows convenient battery charge and easy sync with Mac/PC. It also includes a line-out jack for direct connection to a stereo, bypassing the iPod's volume circuitry. A handy dock plug cover is also included to dust and dirt out when dock is not in use.

New On-The-Go Play List Maker + smart-playlist feature: Now you can create playlist on your iPod without Mac/PC. MusicMatch Jukebox software also has some enhancements for easier creation of playlists. The smart-playlist allows you to rate a song (1-5) and plays the higher-rating ones more frequently.

iTunes: Put iPod in dock and iTunes automatically syncs it to your music collection. It can also create MP3 and AAC files from CDs, resample (for specified bit rate), normalize (volumn leveling), and digitally enhance songs during the transfer, create and update playlists, buy new songs from iTunes Music Store for $.99 per song or $9.99 per album.
